Wtf is up with people sweating their balls off in normal crucible??
Every game I go into today it's 3 thorns and 3 last words on the other team, blink shotguns, arcbolt+firebolts, just in normal control. I get Xur selling tlw contributes and hand cannon bounty today but it takes 1 game to get 15 hand cannon kills like why is literally EVERYONE using crutch weapons. Can't wait for the weapon balance patch.
Edit: Over 200 replies already lol a lot of people in the same realm of frustration.

Refreshing to know that the majority of the replies were in agreement. Can't wait for more variety. It'll be a pleasure going up against all you guardians. ill still play pvp till 2.0 and ill still dominate and be at the top of the leaderboards each game with underpowered weapons, and when the time comes to actually put the try hard pants on in trials ill still go flawless.

I get annoyed by it too but damn it's a shooting game. Don't get mad at people shooting you with guns that are in the game Plus your warlock has blink and an exotic shotgun equipped and you last played pvp on that character. So you are using exactly what you complain about

I get it. It's annoying when you want to try using different guns and everything is going well until just one blink thorn shotgunner tries so hard. I feel obliged to do the same and show them what time it is.

Some people simply don't feel the need to purposely handicap themselves just to appease others. I get bored and switch it up but I don't expect others to. As for people using certain grenades, some people simply too lazy to switch up their spec for regular PvP.

That's destiny crucible now. Get over it. If you don't like it go play COD. Lots of different weapon choices for you.

15 RepliesThose of you calling these crutch weapons need to open your eyes and get some common sense. Right now they are the most broken weapons in the game. I shouldn't have to go into reasons why. If you aren't using them to win, then you just don't deserve to win. Because you're openly admitting that you blatantly don't know how to... Or want to bad enough. I use them when everyone else is. And when they aren't I use my Mida. (Which is soon to be a new meta weapon with the update)

This is exactly what I've been feeling pull out the thorn and tlw in trials or ib leave normal crucible alone and btw i have won alot of rumble with hard light so fun watching a thorn user fall to the ground in a trade

I agree. I mess with whatever I haven't used for a while in normal crucible modes. Only pull out the thorn or tlw for trials and elimination.

the fact remains that these are very enjoyable guns to use which also happen to be some of the more powerful guns to use. I generally run hawkmoon, I love that thing, my favorite weapon in all of Destiny. Is that ok or too op?
