I would think a Cabal truce would be more likely than anything, judging from them hauling tail away from the encounter (dey skeert). But most likely, #3 on your list.

Well, if you took a look at halo, we had a truce with the covenant, but then the covenant broke it, as you can see in Halo Nightfall (Btw, I used to be a Halo fanboy, it was my childhood game) so, the possibilities are endless, we may have a truce with the cabal, judging that Bungie helped make Halo. There might be a couple years of truce, until someone breaks it (Guardians will break it due to the fact, we keep killing them in patrol lol) < but you never know. Cabal, will most likely break it. Just a thought, do any of you think Bungie will stop development on destiny? I hope not, because I really look forward to working for bungie..

No The Cabal will not be our ally. I for he t where I read it but they said Cabal will stop fighting The Taken to shoot at us.
