Matt there's no point in posting this it's done, it will be over soon. You care more than he does. Just because you don't want to play evolve doesn't mean you have to start a useless campaign to get the restriction lifted.
He got banned for doing the change character during the bungie bounty while playing iron banner. It was the only way to leave matchmaking and he did this 5-6 times causing him to get banned like the people that did that in trials.

Except that's probably not true as when the game is searching for opponents as he has claimed further down you can still back out by pressing whichever button (it's O on ps not sure xbox) so you wouldn't get banned for that and would have to be pretty dumb to go to character select rather then just press the button. And his match history only shows one match with a victory and no score which is the sign of somebody leaving after matchmaking is done but before the game starts

It was during the bungie bounty on Xbox. The servers were trashed you could not leave by pressing b (mashing it didn't work either). The only way out was to close the game or change characters

If that is genuinely all that happened then fair enough. Maybe he should post that into the bugs/help section and see what happens?

I'm saying that the Bungie bounty was on the control playlist, not the iron banner playlist. If he was going for the bounty, he was in the wrong playlist.
