You do understand games usually release a collector's or GoTY edition with all DLC at a more convenient price to those who didn't pick it up initially. It's to get those who don't have the game a chance to experience everything.
Just because you're a year one player doesn't mean you're entitled to the year two players price. You pay for the head start. If you want the physical collectors edition for TTK you'll have to pay the $80. I'm not saying it's worth the money to the "veteran" players, but it's a steal for the new guys.

Edited by Parzival: 8/7/2015 3:41:12 PMI saw this with the skyrim special package... They got all dlc and game bundled with a low price and got to experience the same game play... And I don't f'n care... I got to play the game when it first came out and not when peoplw don't give a F about it. It's simple supply/demand.

More convenient price? Year 2 players can experience the same things as year one (their experience is actually better because of year one players finding all of the bugs and glitches. you're welcome) for the same price. This is nothing but a scam by Bungie and they will only retain the dumbest players (young kids with undeveloped minds and adults who are just as dumb as those kids)

Edited by SpillingShorts: 8/7/2015 12:12:51 AMI was going to type up this elaborate explanation, but you're too blinded by your own opinion. I wish you luck in your quest for a discount. You deserve it because without you Bungie, Destiny, and the community would not be the same.

The fact that you think any reason for making veteran players pay 225% more is justified just shows that you will lick bungie's butthole in every situation. Incentives for new players is giving them 10-20% off the content and thats incentive for the new players. Bungie is blatantly boning the veterans... but ur too blind to c it bc ur face is in bungie's ass so shove ur stupid "elaborate explanation" in the ass that ur eating out and then use the other end for ur own pleasure.

It's pretty obvious that you're upset. I'm guessing it's not as obvious to you that the $80 collectors edition is for new players and players that wish to collect the physical trinkets. Simply purchase the $40 version if you have such a problem with it or don't, it makes no difference.

If you had a higher education you would know that to compare things you need to hold all variables constant (except one. the one u are comparing). Your argument fails at keeping all variables constant (all of the content). That is the only way to compare but you wouldn't understand that. Again, if you do not have the education to argue ur points, please do everyone a favor and sit and read as ur opinions r only opinions.

So considering that ttk is $40. The special edition for new player is $60. Destiny, tdb and house of wolves is available to new players for $20 dollars. I understand depreciation but that is kinda ridiculous. House of wolves literally just came out. Go look in stores and come back here and tell me the prices of tdb and house of wolves have depreciated to that extent. To me their pricing for year two tells all. They themselves don't value their game at what they charged us in year one. Even with depreciation the prices havnt dropped that much. I guarantee that a old player that has yet to buy tdb will have to go and buy it for $20 and then TTK for $40. Or they will have to buy the special edition and the base game and how they already own.
