As an English major, I'd much rather read that than Milton's Paradise Lost. The latter, despite being pivotal in the development of the English language, is so downright boring, Calvinistic, and gloom.

Paradise lost... I've never read that one but I've heard a lot about it. Would it be worth reading for somebody who is a philosophy major?
-
Probably. It is very religious in nature so at the very least it would help you to understand the ideological viewpoints of people at the time. But take into account it is a huge read and a major burden.
-
Jesus, what a useless and pathetic major. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Lol, English Major. Pathetic. Go back to college and get a STEM major so you can actually contribute to society.
