PvP is optional. here's a solution:
If you don't like it, don't play it. Problem solved.

didn't i just state that in my post? and it's not like pve was the best either...better than pvp, still not great...

After 2.0 a lot of people will be using different loadouts. I don't like PvE very much, and I actually agree with some of your critiques of what competitive multiplayer has become, but PvP is what keeps bringing me back to this game. PvE is too much of a grindfest right now. You do the same bounties and Daily strikes waaaaay too much to keep me interested. We need TTK like....right now.
