I'm probably going to get the deluxe digital anyways. It's only $60, and it gives you every DLC weapon skin in the game too, plus the characters.

I heard you get all the former 360 Gears games via BC if you buy Ultimate Gears. Hope that's true I still have all the discs but be good if you get them digital too.

The feel when you got GoW, GoW 3, And Judgement on Games With Gold, and still have 1-3 on disc any way...

Okay I see, think I will if I get all those too as I will play them again and this means I don't need the discs loved the Beta anyway.

If you buy and play Gears Ultimate Edition within launch to December 31st, they give you the original Gears, Gears 2, Gears 3, and Judgment digitally for backwards compatability in November. Cannot wait. :)

That's cool, but I've bought every Gears game. They did something similar for Judgment.

I just think it'll be nice to own them digitally even if I own physical copies of them. It'll make transitioning between them a little easier on the One. On top of that, my original Gears 1 & 2 are trashed, and I've had 2 copies of each. 3 is the only one I have in pristine condition. Judgment I never bought based on that awful multiplayer, but I wouldn't mind playing that campaign.

Seems that's what I'm going to have to do, I wanted it disc based for my collection but guess not.

Normally I would do disc, but near the end of August, I won't be able to get out to any retailers for a good few months, and I don't feel like ordering it online. So digital will have to do for now.

Just hoping all pre-order bonuses come to the marketplace at some point, feels like you're missing part of the game when they don't.

I mean, usually with Gears pre-order bonuses, they let you unlock them in game, but making it more difficult. Like Griffin in Gears 3 was a bonus I believe, but instead you could unlock him if you eventually got a certain medal to Onyx.

Some of them they don't allow you to unlock.
