Was it me or did Chief's voice sound off when he said "Weapons free"?
All-in-all looks pretty good so far. I'm not 100% wild about the additions like groundpound and stuff, but I'll just have to try it out and see how it works out.

I think he's louder than normal because hes not talking to a voice in his head. Albeit there on a radio most likely.

I noticed that as well, hearing him say "weapons free" was a bit odd because something just didn't seem right.... Maybe they are still working on how the voices are implemented in the game still...

I agree it did sound a little "off" and this is coming from a huge Halo fan. But to his (Steve Downes) defense I read in an interview a while back he had throat surgery. Not exactly how true the article was, but this may prove it had an impact on the deepness of his voice, which I think makes it sound different compare to the rest of the other Halo games. Then again it's just one line so who knows, right!?
