On the release you can pay $20 for the exotic class items, shaders and emotes.

So my collectors edition includes the taken king dlc but I would have to buy the class item?

Just to add in, I don't know what else Bungie have in store from what they said about those who already bought the digital collectors. But you don't need to buy anything else, you've already got everything they are giving.

The collectors edition already includes everything. There's nothing else you need to buy.

Even if I bought it preordered year one? I didn't buy the collectors edition on the store that clearly shows it includes the Taken King.

I bought my collectors edition LAST August before Destiny came out. I haven't bought the "Taken King" collectors edition they have on the store now. I want the additional content but they had said there would a discounted version available to holders of the ORIGINAL collectors edition.
