I have a lot of advice to give, but what type of school is it? Private/Public? Co-Ed/All Males? High Intelligence/Average/Low Intelligence?

Ok. Also what is you build? Athletic/Husky/Slim/Short/Tall? 1) Take as many advanced/honors/AP courses as you can (Without being overwhelmed). Also don't have all those classes be in just your best subject, show some diversity. A) Study hard. Don't rely on natural intelligence to get you through high school. (Get as high of a GPA as possible) B) Learn how to take notes. It's great if the teacher puts stuff up on the board, but make sure you also write down thing that he/she is saying (not everything you need to know will be on the board) C) Don't miss school/skip class (unless you're really sick or have something going on in you're family) D) Minor note: Make sure you always have all the books and stationary that you need. 2) Be social, but not too social. Yes, have fun and live out your teenage years, make some good lifelong friends, but do not do anything that can jeopardize your future. You may feel like you're immune, but one seemingly small action can screw over your career. A) Try to avoid large parties; like I said, yes have fun, but your studys/sports come first. Also that's where things that shouldn't be going on start to happen. (The "best" parties to go to would be small one just with your close friends.) B) Learn to spot (illegal) things developing and get out of there before it starts. As I said before, don't do anything that can risk your future and if you're not there you can do/get caught. C) It's completely fine to be "interested" in girls (or guys if that's your thing), but do not let that compromise your studies/sports, and also do not do anything to/with her that you'd regret. (Always take it safe) 3) Be careful with your reputation. Be yourself but there are some things you don't want to be associated with: A) Don't let yourself be the kid that falls to peer pressure in an instant and does what ever you're told. B) I don't know how you're doing financially, so if you are doing very well in that sense, don't show it off and don't be overly generous with it. C) Aim to be known as an overall good person. (Help people out [within reason], always be kind [but not a pushover], etc.) 4)Build you're resume: take advanced courses, be active in clubs/band, do service projects, and (if you can) be on a sport.
