Hi Blur,
You will need to link the account that played Halo in order to use your Halo emblem as a avatar, it's how I'm using it right now. :)

It is currently linked. Is it a problem of my gamertag? Because I've changed it quite a few times.

I changed mine a lot back in the day too and I'm able to use them as my avatar right now. And it's weird because when I go to your profile it doesn't show your legacy stats.
