It's funny, because no one listened to the fans when they said they just wanted a revamped Halo 3. No one ever -blam!-ing listens to the core fans.

The minority wanted a Halo 3 copy-paste. A very small minority. Ya, they screwed up on Halo 4, mainly the DMR and maps, but the problems are easily fixable.

But until the problems are fixed, the game will always be mediocre.

I like the DMR. The maps are pretty un-spectacular, but they're workable. Half of the games I've played have been on Ragnarok, so... heh.

The DMR as it is renders all other rifles useless.

Edited by Disambiguation: 1/15/2013 9:39:17 PMIndeed. It takes me back to the Halo 2 days when a lone spartan and his battle rifle could hold off an army. The DMR is almost guaranteed to be nerfed whenever they decide to release a title update, so enjoy it while it lasts.

You're right, it probably was a small minority. After the unforgivable failure that was Halo Reach, there was an incredible amount of Halo 3 players that left the series for good.

What did you play first, Halo 3 or Reach? If you say anything other than Reach, I know you're lying. No one who played a lot of Halo 3 switched to Reach with joy.

I did. I switched from Halo 3 to Halo Reach with great joy! I felt Halo 3 had a very unbalanced sandbox. The only thing players could effectively kill one another was with the BR and any of the power weapon. SMG? Only if you get a head-start on a BR player. AR? Good luck. Plasma pistol? Hope you like dying a lot. Halo Reach has a much more balanced sandbox than 3 and the reason I prefer Reach over 3 and 4. Don't get me wrong- I enjoyed Halo 3 a lot and had plenty of awesome games with friends, but Reach, while it was different with AA's, bloom, and slightly reduced movement speed and jump, was still more balanced than Halo 3 and WAY, WAY better than the garbage they call Halo 4. Think I'm lying about having played Halo 3?
