Bungie do you care about your longest destiny players?
Because after the news today I would say its clear you don't ! On top of giving new players all content for under half the price your longest supporters paid for it, now you drop it on us that all the gear we ground for is useless when the new content drops. Oh and an emblem to show everyone that we were suckers and have been on the line since the beginning is a real great way to award those who have been supporting you all this time. I want to keep playing your game I really do! I enjoy it and have had allot of fun. But unless you drop the price for all those who have all previous content, I will pass this new bait you have thrown into the waters of destiny. So far from what I have seen you give us all no real reason to have played year one, or continue on to year two.

They don't care in the slightest. We tested their game for them while they did bugger all and got us to pay them for it. We got shafted hard. Now they're going after a new year of players, who they will then drop next year.

9 RepliesI am wondering if Destiny is the first RPG you have played? If so then you should understand that bad ass weapons and gear will eventually become obsolete the more you level up. It is a natural occurrence in RPGs that has been in every RPG since the genre was made. This isn't new.

I'm a day 1 beta player and I am totally excited about the new changes and direction. I like change and am looking forward to it.

This is exactly why I haven't played the new batman game yet. You might as well wait till the special edition comes out now days. Personally, I don't think everybody is going to ever be happy as Bungie seems to figure things out along the way in what is uncharted territory for them. This latest dlc isn't just dlc, they probably legitimately fixing huge mistakes they feel they made. A lot of people are going to get fed up as this costly trial and error process repeats itself. I will say that with all I've read from the latest info dump, TTK Destiny does sound like a solid buy for newbies. It does sound like a step in the right direction onscreen. But veteran players did get the short end of the stick, no way around that. It does look like we were all swindled into a $100 beta for a year. YOUR WELCOME as well, btw. On one had, the new stuff sounds tempting. But on the other, I hate giving these people more money over this. And who knows what they've got planned further down the line.

Well I am/was a fan and I won't be getting TTK. Many of the people on my friends list have said they won't be getting it either. Most have already moved on. To the ones who say this is what the fans wanted, I can't recollect seeing make all our armour and weapons obsolete in the wishlist. I liked Destiny for what it was originally, but they keep changing it and every time they do, it's like a kick in the teeth. I've spent over 6 weeks worth of accumulated game time grinding, and I'll still grind to try and get the faction shaders and ships. After that I'll be done.

i do agree with what you have said, but like Kryojenix, we shouldn't moan about as year one players wanted these changes. but I DO NOT agree with the price for year one players as this is a total rip off. they should look at this and reduce it to players that started on day one and only for the 1st month or 2. should have this at a reduced price and receive all new equipment and levels etc as most would already paid £80 for a half job incomplete game and now obsolete.
