I actually really liked nuts and bolts, and think it would have gotten less hate if it wasn't a banjo kazooie game.

I agree one hundred percent, a lot of people were looking forward to a good sequel to the series (banjo threeie) and they brought us nuts and bolts as people speculated it to be the third installment in the franchise.
