I wonder how this change will affect Etheric Lights and Exotic Shards? Will they become useless like radiant and ascendant materials? Or will we still require those to level up armor and guns to keep up with new damage and armor caps?

Here's how it works you won't need gear to be level 40 you still need exotic shards to level up exotic gear but that won't affect your level
