Perhaps the recast is to make the character more interesting! Nolan North is one of the most versatile and ranged voice actors the gaming industry employs. From Uncharted's Drake, Dradpool's Deadpool, Saint Row IV's Boss, he could make the Ghost more than just a glorified door hacker.
