The only issue is that Bungie decided to promote them and they were terrible. If you want to promote a Jackie Robinson type to change minds and break stereotypes, you need a Jackie Robinson. Otherwise the play on the field doesn't match the respect demanded due to gender (etc.) No one would give Ronda Rousey lip, because she has earned her place.
