There is no logic in being against optional matchmaking.
Anyone who thinks it's a good idea that a game makes you seek groups through a third party site has questionable intelligence.

There are plenty of valid reasons against matchmaking already posted on the forums. There are 0 posted for it.

Seriously, for all the back and forth on this, I've not heard this basic argument. Seems to invalidate their entire concern.
