Fun to use annoying to get killed by... Which is more the reason people complain. When someone attacks you with thorn you know immediately what you are up against.
I get just as many or more kills in IB using hawkmoon or a good pulse rifle because people stay and fight...

If I get shot by thorn I immediately know what I'm up against. This is a disadvantage for thorn. To properly use it you need to use all your abilities, grenades, etc...

I'm sorry but your wrong. I'll explain why.... If one person or two use Thorn that's ok. But If the whole damn team uses a Thorn, as I've encountered repeatedly today in the Iron Banner and then sit on a capture point/spawn an proceed to just blindly fire then you have no chance as a player against the onslaught of bullets. One shot almost kills, two shots is death. Pulse Rifle: & Assault Rifle: = generally less then half a clip. Shotgun: = 3-4 shots. Dependent on weapon levels an proficiency. Fact ! [u]So now tell me who has the advantage ?!? [/u] Surely everyone should have a level playing field ?!?

You just verified that you think it is a good idea to challenge a team that is guarding a cap point over and over again. You think it takes 3-4 shots to kill with a shotgun! You have never beaten Atheon, Crota, or skolas. And... You are on here complaining about thorn because you are frustrated by it. Instead of complaining why don't you play the game and actually earn a weapon like the thorn so you can use it too. This is not call of duty where you can level almost instantly. Destiny does not have a level playing field, especially when you are trying to run IB as a 33. If all those people were running hawkmoon, red death, vex, or even hopscotch pilgrim you would complain about them too. Put the time in, play the game, but don't come into the forum complaining when you have not taken the time to get the weapon you are complaining about yourself. Stop complaining... Get gud!
