I agree on these points
Jaren isn't Dredgen and all the points that follow because of that.
But here's where I disagree
Dredgen was a warlock, nothing ever said before or after corruption he wasn't one.
Hawkmoon was not Rose.

Edited by Dragonkeeper1Z: 12/16/2015 8:39:18 PMYor was a hunter. Why else would all his gear be for Hunters? Hunter's can get Dredgen Yor's Rose as an artifact, as well as his cloak. Where'd you get this crap that he's a Warlock? Is it simply because you main as Warlock and want this BA mutherfukah as one of your mascots? Pu-leeze.

The Cloak of Dredgen Yor is what leads a lot of people to believe that as Dredgen Yor, he was known as a Hunter. One question I have is, did the Vanguard know who he was?
-
Just take a good look at raid cloaks and raid warlock chests. They're literally the same thing. It's entirely possible a cloak was made from robes as a misdirect. And yea, they had to have.
-
You may want to look again. The Shattered Vault cloak looks nothing like the Robe of the Hezen Lords. The Shroud of Flies looks nothing like the Deathsinger's Mantle.
-
You need to look closer. Because they most definitely share the same pattern, and material.
-
So? So do the Titan Marks. So your logic is too open ended.
-
Exactly. A Warlocks robe could easily vee made into a Titan mark if the Titan so chose to do so. But that's the difference between titans and hunters. Hunters are known to take up the cloak of a fallen teammate, were a Hunter to close to Dredgen, more likely pre Dredgen than Dredgen Dredgen, it wouldn't be odd of them to make a cloak out of their robes. It's not really open. It's pretty straight forward.
-
There's documented cases of hunters taking the cloaks of other hunters, but not of warlocks. And from what you're saying (in that last comment) is that pre Dredgen isn't post Dredgen.
-
There's documentation of hunters forming long lasting bonds with comrades, yes it says Hunter takes Hunter cloaks, but that's why this is a theory. It's a short step to take a robe and make a cloak. And pre Dredgen is still Dredgen, I mean the man he was before he abandoned the Light.
-
Interesting point. But isn't it equally possible that it is meant to tell us that a Warlock became the renegade Hunter, Dredgen Yor. After all, whoever he was, he wanted the memory of his former self left intact, not tarnished by the actions of who he became. So it makes sense that he not only changes his name, but his profession as well.
