Hopscotch Pilgrim
I have been hearing a lot of talk lately on the forums about the Legendary Pulse Rifle the "Hopscotch Pilgrim," I have heard of many ways to obtain this masterpiece that makes The Messenger seem like a Super Soaker water gun compared to it. [u]If you do have this work of art, please share with me how you obtained it! [/u]

Got mine on Dragon Strike. Wasn't as great as I thought it was

There are only two way to obtain the gun...grind dragon strikes or grind 28 PoE...if anybody tells you different they're wrong and lying to you

3 RepliesHopscotch Pilgrim is overhyped. The Messenger, Hopscotch Pilgrim, and Spare Change.25 [b]ALL[/b] have the exact same ROF and Impact. However, each is to its own in a way. The Messenger has fastest reload and is in the middle for range and stability. The Hopscotch Pilgrim is top for stability. And finally the Spare Change.25 is top for range. Of course you can get different rolls to change it up but in the end all 3 are the same with ROF and Impact.

Got it in a Dragon Strike. Saw it drop for someone else in a PoE 28 yesterday. It's the only two places you can get this gun.

I just started the grind. I'm 0-50 with dragon strikes. And in that time I've only seen one drop.

1 ReplyOut of the an entire month of doing strikes and PoE maybe over a hundred total I've only seen it once. Until the other day when it dropped for me out of PoE 28. Re-rolled outlaw/smallbore/reactive reload. I was never hunting for it, it just so happened to drop and I've heard of it so I knew what I had. I say that because the more you hunt for specific things the more disappointment you will feel. Just gotta let it go and have fun with what rng gives you.

You can get it from Dragon Strikes and PoE 28. Me and a bud had been grinding out Dragons for this gun, and he finally got it. Later that day I was trying to finish up an Elder Cipher, and I got it.

Oh boi do I have the best story for this. I dud the strike once, and I got Dry Rot. Didn't know what it was, but still pretty cool. My brothers GF was over at the time, and she herd about Hopscotch. She wanted to get it for him. I set the game up for her on his Xbone, and I left to go to marching band practice. When I git back home she had completed 30+ strikes, but sadly no Hopscotch. I played The strikes with her, and maybe got a total of four strikes completed before my brother got home. (keep in mind my total for the strikes is 5 and hers now 40+) my brother and I played did a strike. [b][u][i]ONE STRIKE,[/i][/u][/b] and I git Hopscotch. She proceed to cry and hit me when I yelled at the top of my lungs.

Hopscotch is marginally better than the messenger even preferential for some.
