Infinite ammo from a legendary that's why. You still get 18 shots without reloading after the nerf which is still godlike imo

Legendary or not... it's being overused according to Bungie- so making it yellow isn't going to change that- cause that's not the issue that Bungie has with the gun.

You're implying that we will always have 18 bullets. More times than not the black hammer will not have full ammo

Other snipers reload almost as fast and hold more ammo. Not really useful then.

You don't get it. 18 shots without having to reload is 3 times more than any other sniper out there. It's meant to reward a skilled hand for getting precision hits not break the game by being able to kill anything and everything in the game without moving. All the nerf is doing is making it so after 6 clips you actually have to go grab ammo

You dont get it. You can speed up reload times on guns making it so some snipers that hold more ammo can shoot more shots faster or almost as fast because of their fast reload time.
