People are paying a lower premium for content we've been playing for a year. When a new COD or AC comes out every year, is the old game still full price? Nope. Destiny is an ongoing game. I'd rather pay for an expansion than buy a new game that's not compatible with the old one every year.
I think some of these franchises (AC in particular) spread themselves a little too thin by releasing a new game every year. COD could even use an every other year release.

See everyone? A constructive response. Without name calling or any such shit. Your point is a good one. That being said, the dlc pack could be sold at a more reasonable price.

Yeah, I agree. I'm hoping it's worth the $40. I'm also hoping Bungie figures out that that not everyone is gonna want to to pay so much on a consistent basis. Either more content or a lower premium. A fast nickel beats a slow dime, Bungie.
