They can monitor your network activity and Bungie said they would monitor the people who get reported. If you were lag switching then they'll find that out. Usually the people who say they weren't cheating really were. And if you were, then don't be one of those guys that post on here that he wasn't then find out in another post that he really was.

What I'm afraid of is that I got reported for lag switching in ToO even though the other team could kill us but that entire day destiny was lagging me out of games, the same game where the guy reported me we won but we got a loss for the game and it was the last game of the run so we started again and it happened yet again we won and got a loss and a win.

I'm sure we've all been reported unjustly. If you've been reported more than usual, I think maybe that's when they look at your network activity and monitor. I don't know how Bungie does things obviously, but they said they do check and monitor these people. And if anyone was really lag witching, even if it was just once, then take full responsibility and then try not to be a major douchbag again

I'm just really scared don't wanna get banned after putting so much time into this game and money.

No one will show any pity if you really were lag switching. The guilty are usually the ones that come and try to make themselves look innocent. That's true for anything in life.

Okay, I don't have to worry then. I just heard that you can get a ban based off of a report alone, which freaked me out because as I said in the OP, I've probably received before.
