When exactly do you see the chimpanzee error? When attempting to log in, or after selecting your character?

When I attempt to log in, the message pops up. I managed to get to the character select screen once a few weeks ago, but I haven't gotten past login since then.

Please uninstall Destiny, then [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12539]clear the cache[/url] on your console before reinstalling. Once you've reinstalled, please [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]restore your licenses[/url].

I'm having the same problems. I have already installed Destiny and updates, but the problem continues. I played the demo destiny a few days before the old version is disabled. As I could not buy Destiny in the meantime and saw that an update was coming I waited for the demonstration to assess whether the purchase is worth it. I never get to play the full version of Destiny, but the new demo acts as if I had. Using the account of my friend who had not played the old demo, the game appears to run normally. I think all that time I spent waiting 10GBs be installed were wasted.
