Missing hard raids and Skolas. As one of two working parents in the house it's difficult to find the time to run them. I get home from work, wife leaves for work, then I watch the girls (18 months and 7), make dinner, clean, put girls to bed, clean, then play Destiny for a bit.
I have a single etheric light lol. Eventually I hope to run the raids, if only for the moment of triumph.
Do I need to run normal modes before hard?

Edited by TheVikingWolfe: 7/29/2015 2:25:18 PMThe trick is, get your wife playing Destiny. You would be surprised by how much more you "suddenly" get to play once she is involved. That is what I did. My wife got pretty good too. Its fun to run raids with your real life partner. Good luck Guardian.

Yes you have to run normal first. I had a similar problem as you because raids take up a large chunk of time. Fortunately vault of glass takes less than an hour due to it being a lower level. I'm not sure about the rest because I haven't had the time

If you have never done them before, yes.

It's not a requirement, but normal mode is a more forgiving environment in which to familiarize yourself with mechanics.
