The economy in the game. One day your item is worth 10k next it's worth 2, net it's worth 5. Everything is going down in price and it's not a bad thing for buyers, but a bad thing for the people who farm for materials to sell. So the economy really annoys me because I never know what my stuff is worth when I wanna sell it

  • It's because you've got the twelve year old's who don't know how to keep a market at healthy reasonable prices flooding the Guild Vendors with items that are already overstocked. I was looking for a very specific crafting mat last night. After several days trawling the wilderness looking for Fell hide but not getting any, I went to a Guild Vendor. Top Grain Hide is a Veteran Rank crafting mat. As such, once you pass VR3, it has no uses except for one, but I'll get to that in a moment. These twelve year old D-bags have ground out this game over summer break, playing for close to fourteen hours a day. So, they're at the Veteran ranks already. They think they're going to make it rich by selling the base crafting mat, so every single one of these asshats has flooded the market to the point where you wonder if any vendor sells anything else. What they haven't taken the time to realize is if you make weapons and armor, then list those for sale, you'll get far more Gold than you can ever spend. Seriously. Once I level to the point that I cannot use a mat for myself anymore, I leave a smooth stack of 200 in my bank for use by a future character. Everything else I turn into various weapons and armor, upgrade and enchant the hell out of them, then list them for sale in one of my Guilds' store. You only need so much of a certain crafting mat. People are always looking for better gear.
By doing this, I've got just over half a million gold sitting in my bank. It's about knowing how a strong market works
• 32 OR 33. I'm high enough to craft Veteran rank armor and weapons.

I wanted to sell a Primal motif for 49k gold (the other Primal morifs were all 50k-60k). Some idiot ruined my plan, offered his Primal motif for 11k. I mean, I would have gone down to 30k or something, but 11k? -blam!- off.
