Might as well ban/warn anyone with an ADSL, SDSL, or wireless broadband connection now. God forbid your ISP has any network congestion or have traffic fail over to a redundant path due to network issues such as hardware failures. Or how about if your ISP uses bit bucket (bursting), and your "bucket" is empty so you start dropping packets?. I could go on all day... Lmao, this is the dumbest thing I have read on these forums.

I don't work for Bungie, let them hire a consultant if they cant manage their own shit. Nonetheless, your "suggestion" is flawed, and if you didn't want to be called out on it perhaps you should have researched your topic of discussion a bit prior to starting a thread that makes you look like just another ill informed idiot spewing garbage "ideas" all over the forums.

well sorry for trying to help my bad this is a forum and frankly your efforts in making the forums a better place seems to be as fruitless as my efforts to raise awareness about finding PVP cheaters easier i guess we both have problems we cant solve without bungie hiring people outside their business. expecting people to know every little detail about something is like expecting an elementary student to know what the real world is like...... small cases aside, its dumb

I never claimed I wanted to make the forums a better place. Shit, I don't even play Destiny anymore. My lack of caring about the state of the forums, or for the game does not mean I can't read threads on here, and provide opinions on subjects that I am not in agreeance with or those I am knowledgeable in. You posted a thread ultimately stating you think Bungie should warn/ban half of the player base they have left. I made a comment telling you why your idea was illogical. Suck it up, buttercup. Ideas like this are what lead to Destiny dying a slow death in year one.

ideas like this are a start of learning what problems persist if you want to see an idea that illogical, go talk to the people who want trials to be on the year one triumphs, or the guys wanting mustaches before weapon balancing...

Its a P2P connection. These same problems have existed since PvP originated outside of local LANs. Trials should be part of triumphs. It is not hard to go 7-0 with a mediocre team. If you struggle, you need to find a different team; simple as that. However, triumphs should not be a part of obtaining a year one digital item. This was just another Bungie ploy to artificially extend gameplay, and force people into in-game activities against their own will. Nothing new there, and with that said, flawless ToO might as well be on the list to become triumphant.

while a agree with you on P2P always being very problematic and unavoidably vulnerable to abuse from cheaters this whole situation with cheaters in destiny as well as some other games, is getting out of hand. to combat this i try to raise awareness however i made a large blunder in my effort and i am working to change this blunder in to a success so if you have anything left to add to the post to help great, other wise i guess there is nothing left to say.

I just want to say f--k that guy. He never proved he knew anything about latency (ping) or lag switching and the causes--dropped packets. He was just a troll. Feel free to ignore douchey replies and we'll down-vote him so you can post more *useful* content like your responses and OP.
