I think letting a white screen stay on for a couple hours will remove the burn, I used to have plasma I hated that black ops hud was burnt in my screen forever

  • Not when your image retention is bright white and yellow. When you have bright static colors with white and yellow being the worse, the retention is not a ghost image like normal retention, it's a dark area on the screen. The reason why is that you are using up the phosphors that make bright white much more quickly then the rest of the screen. And as all Screens age they get darker. It takes a lot of varied content over a long period of time to even it out. It took me three months of stopping destiny altogether and using the screen wipe, the Disney WOW blueray disc pixel doctor, And running various high color blu Rays to get it to not be noticeable on white and bright flat images. Like a hockey rink. The damage overall was really noticeable when the screen panned quickly.
