    Xbox requires a minimum setting to play online.. PS doesnt.. you can change the Xbox setting but not to a point where you will be able lag and if you do change it to that point you will be unable to play online.     Yes, but you can't play online if your MTU is less than 1384. http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/networking/network-settings
