I'm not really interested in games that take in the past. I like games that take place in the present or the future.

What about games like Bioshock? They take place in alternative versions of the past.

Well, the only BioShock I played a decent amount of was Infinite. The time/theme kind of made sense with what it was trying to do but I'm still not a fan of the time period.
