Efrideets spear
First of all I haven't payed to much attention to IB over the last few month but is The spear going to be available in this weeks IB?
What is, in your opinion he best roll for a new spear?
I was thinking Shortgaze/ambush - Hidden Hand - Armor Piercing - Unflinching.
Edit: Just to put it here I am looking for a good PVP roll
Edit: Most of you guys don't know how to answer a simple question, The point of this post is to get everyone's opinion ton the best roll for The Spear and not what is the best sniper.

The Spear I think is one of the great snipers to have if you like to snipe. Great in PVP & PVE. The only sniper next to the Black Hammer on Impact atm. PVP Roll: Without Final Round Hidden Hand, +2 Agility, Spray & Play Second Perk also good with faster swap between weapons or the aim assist one. One reason I say it's good to have even without final round is due strictly to impact. PvP´s with less than 100% shields, (not exactly sure on the max health scale) but maybe 70-80% will die from a body shot. Also the spear is not the only sniper that one shots with final round unfortunately.

It's not going to be a good pvp sniper when the v2 comes out. No final round, terribad aim assist. It's a pve sniper if you roll surplus/field scout.

Personally I love my old e spears. I prefer field scout and fire fly, but those aren't available anymore. Plus many probably don't care for those stats either.

2 RepliesThe spear is really bad for pvp. The only good things about it before HoW we're that it was rerollable, and could have Field Scout for PvE, and Final Round for pvp. It has low aim assist, higher impact than necessary at the cost of RoF, and now all other snipers are reforgable.

Unflinching is useless from my experience

5 RepliesInstead of armor piercing, you should go for faster aim. I forgot the name of that middle tree perk. Armor piercing is pretty much useless now a days.

9 Replieswhy get this gun? compared to say a her benevolence it has slower RoF lower mag size and no aim assist, sure if ya have a pre how one n use it for final round (scrub) or field scout then maybe but the gun just sucks.

Mine is a beast, Rodeo, Field Scout, Final round. My old one had reactive reload, armor piercing, final round.

7 RepliesI think you're better off trying to get a Her Benevolence for PvP. The spear is nice but only has a 3 round mag and can't roll field scout anymore.

I re rolled my 365 Final round spear and made it a PVE void sniper. Ambush Surplus Field Scout Clown Cartridge Never really used FR in PVP, just liked having one around. But it'll be useless soon so I went ahead and made the change

It's random what they pick to sell, so no guarantees what will be up next. For PVE Surplus extended mag/casket mag, and hidden hand For pvp The spear has low aim assist so ShortGaze, HiddenHand, snapshot and unflinching

10 RepliesDoubt it. Bungie nerfed this gun to death. Taking away the SKOLAS burns was one way. This spear was good at stunning him Now bungie is taking away final round perks which I thought were extremely useful but since people complained about it, it's getting nerfed.
