You're missing the point.
Exotics aren't meant to be vastly superior to other choices. MIDA, Red Death, Bad Juju, Thunderlord, Truth, Patience and Time, Monte Carlo, Hawkmoon, Icebreaker, Invective, Forth Horseman, Plan C are all exotics that fall in line with other weapons.
Suros, Pocket Infinity, Vex, Gjallarhorn, Thorn, Last Word have all stood out as being vastly better - all have been nerfed.
Hard Light, Nechrochasm, No Land Beyond all are underperforming - they are getting boosts.

Not sure who you are directing this at but I agree with you... I think if they want it to be like any other weapon though...making it more available will help in deterring some of the "glassy eyed awe and wonder" of when you finally do get it.
