[b]The White City Heist: Epilogue[/b]
As he entered the hotel, Allen heard a soft [b]thwip[/b]. He had only seconds to register the dart lodged in his arm before he passed out.
Three hours later, Allen woke up in his hotel room. A card lay on the nightstand.

Allen realized his tacpad had been removed from his arm, and laid on the table as well. The small computer's databanks had been rifled through, and the record of all the bounties Allen had taken up had been downloaded and duplicated. But why?

[spoiler]It's part of my character's story. All shall someday be made clear, but here's what I'll tell you. Essentially, his handlers believe that the Mafia is a threat to their organization, and that those Punks who take their bounties and do their dirty work are the easiest route to eliminating said threat. Plus, Crane's a heavily modified cyborg, and displays very little emotion, and has, as of yet, no recollection of his past. Even If he was best buds with somebody before his death and rebuilding, he sees them as another civilian. Or worse, a target.[/spoiler]
