If you are given the option to and only after you have already been forced to use TTK gear in the meantime lol

About the ascension yes, but its a fact that we will be forced to set aside old gear and weapons in order to prgress in the game. TDB did it. HoW did it. TTk will do it.

Edited by Coyote_x_Starrk: 7/26/2015 7:08:34 AMYes you could ascend you gear, but only after you did the endgame content of HoW which required you to use the HoW gear in order to achieve that level. You had to be 34 before you could start regularly getting Etheric Light. So even IF they allow you to further ascend your weapons it would only be done with participation in the endgame content which will be FAR above the level that the current gear is set at. Which means that either you are just NEVER going to be able to ascend your gear or you will have to take off your old gear in order to use the new gear that will ultimately get you to the point where you can use the old gear again. So no matter what you THINK you are gonna do you will still have to move on from your old gear. Even if its only for a a period of time.

So basically what you are wanting is to be able to play the entirety of the endgame content of TTK without ever having to get any new gear or weapons? You do realize that if you played Crota or HoW you already did EXACTLY what TTK is gonna have you do right?

Yeah I'll wait yeah I made the mistake of giving up the best gear which was vanilla when TDB came out I'm not doing that again I love my gear and weapons I'm not sharding again
