If you really just want the weapon parts
Auto dismantle will hurt more than help,
a green gives 3-5 weapon parts if dismantled after bounty leveling it
But only 1 weapon part if immediately dismantled
Save them up and manually dismantle when optimal to get most materials

But then I'd have to carry it round, use it, level it... Which is my point,to save space and time... I have walked over and left so many green engrams because I have no slots free. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying this because I'm desperate for weapon parts but it just seems a waste that I can't pick them up, would rather have 1 weapon part than none...

saving time Leveling green before dismantle gives more materials than the insta dismantles you would have found In terms of materials / time efficiency, micromanagement saves time

Feel free to do the maths on that...pretty sure you'd be in the minority of people who would level a green just to max the mat output....
