If you didn't use the Nechrochasm in the nightfall you are a fool!
This gun may otherwise be underwhelming, but I promise you it is a monster with arc burn. Regular enemies headshots were like 616 and majors was 308. Take that fire rate and it's like ice cream melting in the desert. I dare you to prove me wrong with how OP it is with burn. Other than that without the burn it sits in the vault. Haha. Let me know what you guys think or if you tried it!
Edit 1: I read these posts and see a lot of gally users....I wonder why it's getting nerfed. To eachs own but I enjoy using different weapons to keep it interesting.
Edit 2: a lot of mixed responses and I'm thinking that people assume I suggest to use the necro even on omnigul. Not the case. Melt her as you see fit. Use something other than the fatebringer the whole time. I wonder why these weapons are being nerfed when a lot of people are using the same load out. Necro is an overall fun gun to use, there are "better" weapons, but why not change it up? Keep posting guardians.

Until I had Omnilooloo down to that smidge of health where she calls out the last wave of cursed thrall. I was flying up against the ceiling when the trail end of an explosion killed me from full health. I did not try again.

What? An arc auto rifle is good with 300% more damage during a nightfall?? Impossible

All the burns are on so anything with a burn is good. Arc and solar being the most useful with those shields.

Anything feels OP with burn, I was using a void wolfsalyers claw and it was ripping up but if I used Fatebringer it would be crazy

Tried it. Does okay against normal/unshielded mobs, but still didn't shine very well against majors/shielded targets. VoC, on the other hand..

I think thrallsplosion would do well but fatebringer kicked ass for me and would probably end up being better due to range and being a hand cannon over auto rifle.

I used my gjallarhorn with my titan. Orbs for days with the bubble + heavy kill perk. I made enough orbs for a warlock to get his super 8 times in the first room alone.

I'm so tired of using the fatebringer for everything so I switched between a scout with no elements and arc messenger and queen breakers bow and ice breaker. I did still gally omnibitch to death tho because I hate her.

Nechrocasm is a marshmallow shooter lol. I used fatebringer critical shots of like 5,000 and killing 10 enemies in 1 shot. Honestly if you used anything else you were just dicking around. Fatebringer found verdict and thunderlord killed omnigul in under 10 seconds before wizards even spawn.

In fact if anyone knows anyone who is ready to admit their problem, he is heading up the Gjallarhorns Anonymous meeting on the weekend. It's pretty harrowing stuff though. " it's been 5 days since I fired my gally..." "When I shut my eyes, all I see are endless Wolfpack rounds..." " why would they nerf my baby? Life just seems so pointless now..." And that's the people who talk. The rest are quietly rocking back and forth on the ground while sucking their thumbs, all the while quickly chanting Gjallarhorn rhythmically...it's like some sort of gally dance to appease the bungie gods. First part I used my wolfslayers claw 2 with arc and bonus damage to vandals. In the second part after skywatch I used the word of crotard.
