In no way does that make sense. If they're coming out with better stuff why ruin the old stuff? Shouldn't the new stuff not have to have the bar lowered?

I'm pretty sure I've heard somewhere that there will be no upgrading old stuff to the level of new stuff. Just a rumor though.

That is just rumor based off of a statement made by someone from Bungie that could have also been as interpreted as to why vendors don't sell old gear.

So you have more incentive to buy the DLC

But that makes no sense as if the stuff is really better then you should already have the indenture. Instead by ruining weapons it chases people away because even if the new weapons are better they now expect them to be ruined just because they're used.

Well I guess their plan backfired. They obviously didn't want the community getting so upset. I think they screwed up and I think that's obvious.
