Nothing wrong with women playing. I've always played games so I don't know any different lol. Yes, there are assholes on the internet (both men and women). Most of us female gamers know how to deal with them. If they're rude all you have to do it mute/block them. Something I don't understand is why women play and expect to be treated like some kind of queen and have everything handed to her because she has blessed the male sex with her voice in a videogame lol. All I want is to play and be treated with respect...just like everyone else. And thats usually what happens.
