I'm not a PvP player. So speaking from a PvE perspective... Nerfing them to be harder to aim (having to lead the target more) and nerfing the speed of the projectiles, while not buffing the damage significantly, makes them pretty much useless in PvE. Esp in higher levels where you need to kill quickly and GTF outta there quick. The range and power is not worth it as they stand. Takes too many shots to kill. Them Nerfing shotguns won't make fusion rifles better lol. Making fusion rifles better will make fusion rifles better lol
