Err I main the last word in Pvp and you still need 2 headshots and a body(anywhere else) shot to kill someone with it effectively
It takes 4-5 body shots (ads) and 3 (hip fire) [referencing some guy in comments] to kill someone using it for pure body shots and shit like Messenger kills you with 2 bursts in return and higher range
Thorn 2 headshots and burn will kill you, you still need 4 body shots (or 3 and run away but if you're in his face its gonna need to be 4 or risk double KO)
I die to shotgunners and rockets a lot too whilst fanning the last word for kills but just Learn your class and weapons and stop your whining

PS > (let's be honest if you body shortted with tlw through hip fire, chances are its a panic fire since the guy is too close to you, it's not gonna be full body shots but likely body and leg or something, there's a lot of recoil animation which my mind goes *slow down*, hence usually takes 4+ shots, more than enough time to be countered)

lol for someone that mains a last word you have some incredible lack of knowledge about the weapon. lastword ADS bodyshots are 57 damage, wich means you need just 4 to kill somebody. hipfire bodyshots are 68, wich make it a 3 hit to the majority of players as it adds up to 204 damage. thorn kills in 4 real bodyshots yes, but who cares if you can run away at 3 and this will still be a thing after the patch and let the burn kill them just like the 2 headshot? seriously dodging rockets that have proximity effectively can only be done with blink and most of these rockets have a maxed velocity stat so most people die to that wether they use a handcannon or not, thing you aren't mentioning is that its rediculously easy to out dps a LMG if their aim is sht. shotguns are shotguns and this game gave them too much range and a lot of mobilty, not much you can do here if the dude is blinking towards you and if hes any good at doing so you would have died before you can even aim and shoot. maybe on the odd chance he runs out of blink and cant move that much you'll easily melt him with a last word.

What I said still stands, I referred to body shot(ads) on tlw being not enough to justify this much complaints, 4 shots whilst ads on hand cannon when trying to get the head in the midst of battle is quite tricky especially when everyone is quite mobile in the game I discredited the OP's lack of knowledge of the hand cannons thorn and tlw regarding not needing to headshot effectively I mentioned the rockets and shotguns because they are OP too which leads me back to, learn your class + stop whining I'm not a next level but I handle myself well in crucible enough as positive KDA to understand the current meta and their mechanics and not whine and bitch which is the core of what I said if you actually read it Cheers

Actually TLW can 3 body shot with hipfire only, I use it regularly and most of the time I hipfire
