2shot headshot revolvers
Everyone is complaining about Thorn being a 2 shot headshot with the burn effect which you can easily counter with Suros or Red Death. But they keep forgetting that there is the Hawkmoon which 2 shots you directly and there's no way to counter it. Just wanted to express this frustration I get when someone is using the Hawkmoon and complains about Thorn being a 2 headshot kill.

Thorn had a ton of aim assist while hawkmoon is harder to land headshots. I you are patient with your shots and luck is on your side you should be rewarded for using that exotic. It doesn't have an insane TtK but it is an exotic.

1 ReplyHawkmoon isn't a guaranteed 2 headshot. You most definitely can [b]NOT[/b] counter thorn with suros if the thorn user has any skill at all. If the thorn user has equal skill as the red death user than thorn will win. Final evaluation: Don't go full retard.

My timurs lash can two shot unless they have max armour, that's as standard without a lucky bullet too

I shouldn't have to rely on a small handful of prestigious exotic weapons to counter what would otherwise be a guaranteed 2-shot kill. This is the same as defending NeoNazis because some don't hail Hitler. Thorn grants a [b]guaranteed 2-shot precision kill[/b] that can rarely be countered with enough skill and the right exotic gear, heaven forbid it lands a 3rd shot to put the nail in the coffin. If you have yet to see the unbalance here, then try picking up any other non-2-shot weapon and going against a team using thorns, there is a reason the majority of Trials combatants use this weapon.

1 ReplyI thought hawkmoon could only 2 shot when luck in the chamber procs. Ill will 2 shots but has horrible stability and can't snipe from across the map like thorn

1 ReplyThorn is tough with Red Death, but kind of doable. Hawkmoon and The Last Word are the two that have always pissed me off in PvP. Mostly TLW, though. Once someone is aimed at your head, it's over and you can't do shit about it, even if they're nowhere near you. That was one nerf that definitely needed to happen.

9 RepliesOh please for the love of god SHUT UP. Hawkmoon has an aim assist of 53 - very low. Headshots require SKILL. It's also less likely to kill in two shots anyway. OP DOES NOT HAVE A HAWKMOON. OP DOES NOT HAVE SKILL.

4 RepliesThorn isn't easily countered. In fact red death and suros hardly counter it at all. The healing stop if you take damage over time so unless you kill him as soon as the burn effect stops it won't matter. It will only stop the burn which usually won't matter because 3 body shots kill you or if he does tag your head twice he's in cover. Not to mention suros has a garbage kill time and red death is actually pretty good but still falls short of thorn. So no basically the only counter to thorn is being better than the user
