why the fxck isn't thorn being nerfed more? the 1/3 burn damage was good enough but they had to let it stack. ridiculous.
also the last word nerf is completely overkill.

Did you read all the fixes to handcannons? It will be harder to hit rapid precision shots, damage drop off has been increased (thank God!), and stability of lowered. The damage of thorn really wasn't the issue. It was the ease of use, especially in the hands of low skilled players. The overall changes will hopefully start to shift people away from the current oversaturation of handcannons in crucible.

It's now in line with other hand cannons, as its 2 shot kill potential has been removed. It now needs at least 3 shots to kill. That was the biggest issue with Thorn as it was a Shoot-forget gun for those that could land 2 quick precision shots. With the general HC nerf on its range, the Send It perk nerf and its DoT nerf, I'd say it was nerf considerably.

TLW is still a 2 shit if you hip fire and use aggressive ballistics...

With the range nerf to HCs in general, TLWs range nerf to 10, hip fire precision kills will be a close encounter thing. The biggest issue with TLW was how its range stat lied big time. It could 2-shot at medium ranges (I've even been 2-shot at long range in Trials).

It's impossible to 2 hit with the thorn now unless you crit them with final round. It's absolutely nerfed in pvp

You can get two head shots and the burn kills them now. I've done it.

That's only on snipers isn't it? Even if it's on Thorn, my point still stands. Read my original post.

Probably if thorn was merged more, MotD would become useless, or you'd see a lot of more TLWs
