Why should we have known? Everything I mentioned made it seen like dragons would be in the game

No it didn't lol. Playing the beta was solid proof against any and all of your theories.

We didn't see the cabal or the vex in the beta. And Bungie is often very discreet. In halo 2, no one knew you would play as the arbiter tell the game came out.

Please be joking. The cabal and vex confirmed to be out since the games reveal. Playing the beta blew this theory out of the water. It was clear Bungie didn't give a shit and this game turned out to be the opposite of what they wanted it to be. There were never going to be dragons
