"Naming and shaming" is considered harassment, among other things. This is clearly against the code of conduct. While your efforts to twist the code of conduct and privacy statement to your will are impressive, you will find that the moderators will not heed your request, as they are expected to follow Bungie policy, not MattP14 policy.

 • My generation? Sols, you wound me.. :/. So I get it. Calling someone a "twit what's acts terrible" isn't cool. And neither is attempting to prove a point by resorting to the same base tactics one just condemned.

 • If you called him a twit I wouldn't have given two thoughts to your reply. When you call the only Bungie employee who's willing to have an actual discussion on the forums a twat... Not cool.

 • Fair enough, never said I was cool though. And it was a knee jerk response made while waking up. I will endeavour to be more thoughtful and concise with my posts

 • he wasn't helpful, OP simply was annoyed that reporting the individual was not helping and wanted to take it to the forums. He is then met with a sarky response confirming what he already knew and then actually violating the code of conduct himself. It sets a bad example that the creator of bungie.net can't follow his own rules. Even if he does belive that moderators would not recive naming and shaming well, he could of at least been shuttle about it. Cheating is a real problem in trials, mostly becuase most of the moderators are not doing anything about it.

 • How exactly did Achronos violate the code of conduct? And he wasn't being disrespectful, he was being humorous. There's a difference between poking a little fun at someone you're directly replying to and going onto a forum and accusing someone who isn't in the thread of cheating. If you can't figure out that difference or why the OP is completely wrong with their assertions, maybe this will help.
de·fame \di-ˈfām, dē-\verb : to hurt the reputation of (someone or something) especially by saying things that are false or unfair Full Definition de·famedde·fam·ing transitive verb 1 archaic :disgrace 2 :to harm the reputation of by libel or slander 3 archaic :accuse — de·fam·er noun Examples He says he was defamed by reports that falsely identified him as a former gangster.<of course I want to win the election, but I refuse to defame my opponent in order to do so
Telling someone they're wrong isn't defamation. Telling the world someone did something wrong without proof is.

 • According to a reply on this post, he had a video that was taken down by a mod for just that. We could all bend phrases and make them fit our belief. Poking fun at someone would be appropriate elsewhere. There 2 people have no relations whatsoever, it's just a control freak inserting unnesisary dicipline while doing the thing he is ridiculing( refer to final sentence when he sarcastically refers to OP

 • There's no context as to why it was taken down. If he's posting gamertags in his post about the video, then he's breaking the CoC. If they're just posting videos of gameplay and letting people draw conclusions, that is not violating it.

 • Somebody who can not form proper sentences? Short handing a sentence only makes the one who typed it look foolish, it's not clever its laziness. Hah #stay in school!!!

 • It's a shame really that there are not more. This is the bungie forums, you would expect a few more. Just shows how bungie are going under :) thank god. Are bungie employees unable to communicate with other human beings?

 • Yes forcing it on us because they are too lazy to develop optional matchmaking themselves, instead they leave it to two players to develop it into their spare time. Wait, doesn't Bungie have 500 employees? What a -blam!-ing joke. Please God Fallout will kill this cancerous game.
