Good. I honestly think this freedom nonsense has gone too far. It's ludicrous to think that we should actually be able to decide who we bake cakes for and who we don't. Thank god the government has saved us from this harrowing problem.

Actually it's because the bakers released the couples details and the couple got death threats. The money is for damages. Although it is an offence to refuse service to some one because of race, gender, sexual orientation or nationality

They had baked cakes for those customers before. They just explained to them that they don't make cakes for same-sex weddings. Technically they have served them in the past but expressed their inability to fulfil that particular request.
