Comparing a video game to a slot machine is pretty dramatic, and likely insulting to anyone who was or knew a gambling addict. It is not the same thing.

500 hours of spare time vs. a mortgage and future college tuition. Yeah, that's the difference. A pretty big difference.

HAHA no. Going through an addiction doesn't make you a stronger person, because you were originally weak, overcoming an addiction just puts you back into the position of someone who was smart enough not to get addicted. It does however make overcoming other addictions easier because you have already gone through one.

You seem to know nothing about it. So people are weak bc they listen to their doctors who put them on incredibly addicting "medicine" to help them without fully describing how hard it will be to stop taking do called "medicine". Yet these people are weak when you have never been through something as mentally and physically challenging as addiction? Go do drugs for six months then stop straight up and let me know how weak addicts are.

hahaha Ive done lots of drugs its called college buddy youll make it there someday. The difference is that I know whats good for my body and whats bad. Overuse of anything is harmful that's just common sense. And like I said early its no ones fault but their own for getting addicted. PERIOD. You cant blame the doctor because you are the one choosing to go to that doctor.

Get mad at the professionals.. they are the ones that likened the actions to a slot machine! Or get really mad when you see the bird doing the same experiment we are doing verbatim with this game.

That's who I'm referring to. OP is simply putting the video out there for a discussion, I'm not upset with OP. The "professionals" are arm chair psychologists. No one with a PhD has come out and commented on this game. All the "professional" did was make a comparison. The bird experiment is nothing like this, which is why I find it so funny. A bird needs food to live. It's isolated in an experiment and knows it needs food to live. Obviously it's gunna hammer the switch with it's beak. What else is it gunna do in an empty room?! We have a choice whether to game or not. If Activision is using our brains against us, then people are stupid for falling into it.
