What the fuck.
How about we just round everything to 50 and we can all just be idiots.

I was rounding from 47 to the next nearest whole digit. You could do that, but I said what I said for the sake of my argument. Even without that part, you could still make the connection.

Since when do we round whole numbers to the next whole number?
-
There was no real reason for it, but say it was, for example, 10, 10.5 and 11. You would round the halfway number to the higher number, but there was no reason to round it other than for my argument. Cases where we do round whole numbers to other whole numbers: Basic rounding that you would do in secondary school. Round to the nearest 10, nearest 100, nearest 1000. Typically these questions would be, 376 to the nearest 10 = 380 248 to the nearest 100 = 200 3524 to the nearest 1000 = 4000 See? Basics.

YOU CANNOT ROUND 47 TO 48
-
Round to the nearest whole number could be one for decimals. 8.7 would round to 9, 3.445 to 3. Rounding a whole number to another whole number would be pointless, but in this particular occasion, once again, I did it for the sake of my argument.

You don't get to do that
-
Say something for the sake of my argument? Why not? You don't get to tell me why I can't do that, but I can't say that either, can I?
-
Round to the nearest 8?
