I've done extensive testing. Range is the most important stat. The higher the range, the quicker the bullets travel. You still need average stability, but range is what you want. Try to roll for rangefinder. This along with accelerated coils makes your fusion rifle a monster. But they are still very inconsistent lol.

It's not that they travel faster its just the spread is reduced and the dmg rolloff is farther.

No sir. They travel faster. You can do the research on reddit. This is why low range fusion rifles have a hard time hitting targets that are far. You need to lead your shots in that case.
