Sorry, but I don't buy the defense as HoW was not worth 20 bucks for the content. 3 x 34 by end of the first week without trying? Most of the weapons are terrible and there were very few exotics added. If we are getting double the content of HoW, not worth 40. I'm assuming TTK will be filler to play before the big AAA titles start rolling in.

34 in HoW wasn't a big deal, it was getting 34 in various sets without sacrificing efficiency in any activity. (and you were one of the incredible few to get 3x34, even if Trials were a cakewalk for you and Skolas fell before you on a silver platter, definitely worthy of a humble brag.) But aye, it's not going to compare to a new game but that's a given as an expansion is never equal to a full release.

Definitely. After seeing today's update I have not lost all faith. Looks like a neat update for the interface and not needing to return to the tower for quest bounties... If it's going to include new daily bounties, quests for patrol, etc and more, maybe the 40 will be well justified.
